The former can (in theory anyway) possibly encourage people to use the gog client more often, the latter discourages it. Gog making it easier to buy epic exclusives is a huge difference from making their own games exclusive on epic. ![]() I don't really see how that indicates CDP would want to make their own games exclusive to Epic. The whole point was just to make galaxy more enticing by offering more convenience to buy games, with the intent to buy from OTHER stores as well like steam, origin etc Epic was just the first and only to agree with it at that time. Nobody has said a single thing about actual experiences using this supposed feature, because apparently it still hasn't happened yet. Most of the posts are from a over a year ago, and the most recent one is from Jan of this year, where somebody asks "So this feature is abandoned?". Here is the thread and you can see it got a lot of backlash: That was from a year and a half ago, and it hasn't even been implemented yet Hence an exclusive to epic is “also available on gog”. ![]() So anyone using galaxy should be able to buy games direct from epic through galaxy, for for most galaxy who care nothing about drm or ownership, epic store is also on GOG. ![]() There was an announcement some time back which went into details, as always you can’t find anything with the search here so here is a third party news item on it: Nightcraw1er.488: Personally I don’t know as I don’t use the client.
